Uses Of Essential Oils
The most potent parts of a plant are
the bio-essences, which are found in the oils it holds. These plant
essential oils contain volatile substances
which have strong natural actions on animal and human physiology.
Some are even too strong for human consumption and are only for external use. Essential oils are widely used in
medicines, cosmetics and food manufacturing.

How To Brew Herbs And Teas For Drinking
To get the best out of your
herbs and teas, they should be prepared and brewed in the
correct way. Also remember to store them correctly so as to preserve their
flavours.
Always use good quality herbs and tea leaves, and brew the tea fresh to drink. Discard any unused brewed teas.
They are best drunk hot, but you may also add ice cubes for a cool refreshing drink in hot weather.

Detoxifying Herbs
 All plants contain phyto-chemical
substances which produce a wide range of actions. For millennia, mankind has used these substances found
in plants, for a variety of purposes, such as for food and
fabric dyes, but especially for health.
Many herbs have a detoxifying action in the body. They work to not only remove toxins which build up
but also to restore organs to their natural optimum functional state. More.

Flowers For Beauty And Health
In most cases, all parts of a plant
can be used for various purposes. From the leaves to the roots, there is usually something in each part,
according to the particular plant, which can benefit us in some way.
Flowers are no exception. Today, numerous cosmetics, skincare and beauty products contain essences and

Grow Your Own Herbs
There is nothing quite like growing
your own herbs and using them for the home and family. They can be used not only for drinking and in cooking
but also in other ways, such as in air fresheners, insect repellant, herbal baths, medications and beauty
preparations.
Most are small plants, can be grown in pots or in a herb garden, and are easy to grow.
